Evening Baker (Part-Time) – Independent, Fast-Paced Role

Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Pay: Starting at $18/hour
Schedule: Late afternoon / evening / night
Hours: ~20–30 / week + fill-in shifts (some Saturdays if needed)

About the Role

We’re looking for someone who can come in, get their work done efficiently, and take ownership of the kitchen during evening production.

You’ll be making things like cinnamon rolls, sandwich breads, bagels, apple turnovers, and other pastries—mostly working solo once you’re trained.

This is not a “stand around and wait to be told what to do” job. It’s for someone who:

• Moves with purpose

• Keeps things clean without being asked

• Takes pride in doing things right and doing them well

What You’ll Be Doing

• Mixing, shaping, and baking yeast doughs and pastries

• Staying on top of your own workflow and timing

• Cleaning all dishes, tools, and your workspace as you go

• Leaving the kitchen fully reset for the next day

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with yeast doughs (bread, bagels, cinnamon rolls, etc.)

• Someone who works well independently

• Fast, efficient, and organized

• Cleans as they go (this is a big one)

• Shows up consistently and takes the job seriously

This Job Is NOT For Someone Who:

• Needs constant direction or supervision

• Moves slowly or gets easily overwhelmed

• Leaves messes for others

• Just wants an “easy” job
